Vail Lake RV Resort Park Rules
Park rules are for the safety and comfort of our guests.
Please make yourself familiar with our rules and regulations to ensure the resort delivers the best experience and utmost safety for all our guests. The person booking the site is responsible for all related fees and charges.
Registration Office Hours
Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Friday & Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Sunday – Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Friday & Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Check-in is after 1:00PM. An early check-in may be arranged at the Reservation Office. *ALL BLACK WATER TANKS MUST BE EMPTIED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL ON THE PROPERTY.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon. A late check-out may be arranged at the Reservation Office. Minimum late check out fees apply. If you do not arrange for a late check-out time and leave your site by noon you may be charged an additional day. The fee for early check-in and late check-out is $10.
The site rent is based on an occupancy of six (6) people or less. Vail Lake RV Resort does not currently allow tent camping at this time.
There is no trash collection service available, however, dumpsters around the campground are available for trash. Please help us keep Vail Lake RV Resort clean and leave no trace.
Quiet hours are from 10:30PM to 6:30AM.
There are three swimming pools at Vail Lake Resort: a children’s or wading swimming pool, a lap pool and an large leisure swimming pool. Please be aware there is NO LIFEGUARD on duty. Swim at your own risk. A responsible adult MUST accompany all children under the age of 14. All swimming pool users are required to observe posted safety rules. No running in the swimming pool area is allowed. No alcohol or food is allowed in the swimming pool area.
All cancellations will result in a $20 cancellation fee and must be received two weeks prior to check-in date to avoid 50% cancellation fee. The deposit is non-transferable towards a future stay.
Cancellation Policy – Must be received 30 days prior to check-in to avoid forfeit of your payment. Payment is non-transferable towards a future stay.
Memorial Day & Fourth of July – Three Night Minimum. All other holidays – Two night minimum.
On Wheels: Golf Carts
Golf carts are allowed for use as transportation on the property. Golf carts must have a Vail Lake RV Resort pass with the RV Site number clearly visible on the driver’s side front window. Driver must hold a valid driver’s license. All vehicles must be properly muffled and must stay on established paved roads. Golf carts must have headlight/taillight if operating after dark. Helmets are required for anyone 17 years old and under.
Motorbikes, ATV’s, side by sides, UTV’s mini bikes and quads are not allowed on the property and ALL OFF ROADING is absolutely prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in eviction from the resort. No children under the age of 16 are allowed to drive golf carts on the property. Please keep vehicle noise to a minimum during Quiet Hours.
Golf carts may be driven on paved roads only and must have headlights and taillights if operated after dark. Use of non-stock exhaust (overly loud) gasoline powered golf carts is prohibited during Quiet Hours.
Helmets are mandatory for cycle riders under the age of 16.
No electric scooters are allowed.
Violations of these rules can result in eviction from Vail Lake RV Resort.
RV Site Parking
Only one RV and a maximum of two vehicles are allowed in your RV Camp Site. Excess vehicles will have to be parked at the overflow parking in designated areas of the village. Visitor Passes: $10 a day or $20 for overnight.
Vail Lake Access
Vail Lake is a private facility with daily charges for parking and shoreline fishing. Guests of the RV Resort may purchase a pass to shoreline fish (catch and release).
RV Resort Guest Rates: $10 per day, per person 7 years or older, for shoreline fishing and can be purchased at the front RV gate, or in the store/Reservation office.
Two (2) pets are allowed per site. Dogs MUST be on leash at all times.
No bonfires. DCF approved fire pits can be used for ambiance and must be at least six inches above the ground, have a cage surround and a solid lid. The fire pits found on the sites are OK to use as well.
Please be advised that we have wonderful wildlife residing in our park. Please be respectful and DO NOT FEED OR PET THE WILDLIFE. Vail Lake will not be responsible under any circumstances for injuries caused by negligence of park rules and regulations regarding wildlife.
Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 799.20, et scq. a recreational vehicle may be removed from the premises without judicial hearing, after the service of a 72 hour notice, if the occupant who has been in the park for less than 30 days, has either (1) failed to pay for his/her occupancy in the park or (2) fail to comply with the Park’s Rules & Regulations.
All facilities are used at your own risk. Our equipment, apparatus and facilities are furnished solely for the convenience of our registered guests. All persons using such do so at their own risk. The management will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind or acts of God.
This property is privately owned. The management reserves the right to make site changes when necessary, refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of valuables of any kind. All rules are subject to change without prior notice.
